God at Work in Small and Big Ways

The story we never expected to live may be the story that offers hope to someone else.
This week, I have the honor of sharing part of my story through Faith Storytellers—an online publication that seeks to share the story God is writing in the world through true, first-person stories of faith.
In the post Results that Changed My Life, I share the ways God was at work in small and big ways as I navigated treatment of a rare disease.
Here’s what Mackenzie Ryan, leader of Faith Storytellers, had to say:
“This week, I want to share a story with you about how God works in big ways and small. While God can deliver big miracles once-in-a-while, this story serves as a reminder that it’s important to stop and appreciate the small things He does for us as well.
MaryBeth Eiler found small miracles can really add up when a rare disease left her in pain with few treatment options. When she began keeping journals she found God’s small daily miracles helped her stay positive on her road to recovery.
I hope you enjoy her story as much as I do.”
When we are overwhelmed by all that is happening around us, it can be difficult to recognize God at work—but He is indeed at work. I hope my story encourages you to keep going through your unexpected circumstances and to continue seeking God’s presence. When you do, you’ll be sure to find His provision in small and big ways.
